So first things first: don’t bring your favorite hoodie with you while you travel. Through all the excitement you’re bound to lose something you love and in my case it was my favorite hoodie. This blog post is dedicated to you blue-hoodie; may you find your way back to me someday.
Anyways, the second day in London was just as eventful as the first. Said hello to Lizzy at the palace, ran around the gardens with her corgis and settled in to Buck Pal for some cheeky afternoon tea with Megan and Harry. Hannah and I met up with a friend from Kingswood, Alex, who became our official central London tour guide for an hour or so. Went to a pub (because where else would we go) for fish and chips and some cider. Did some more touristy things including the Tower Bridge, Kings Cross, and most importantly Platform 9 and 3/4. If you live under a rock and are unaware of what Platform 9 and 3/4 is, pick up a Harry Potter book and talk to me in 2 weeks after re-evaluating your life choices. In the little shop at Platform 9 and 3/4 I over heard some people who work there gossiping about Ru Paul’s Drag Race Finale coming up and I had to give my input. One of them proceeded to come up behind me after and whispered Ms. Vaaaaaangie in my ear. Truly made my day. So pretty much to sum up yesterday’s highlights I would have to say: lots of walking, lots of alcohol, with a splash of Harry Potter and Drag Race. My stop in Manchester is going to be very relaxed, which I think I need and deserve. Going to afternoon tea and out with Hannahs friends tonight. Hopefully Tallahassee prepared me to be able to keep up with the brits. I will keep you updated.
Thats what you’ve missed, (on glee)
